Hello! We’re Nivina & Jithin.
We’re a couple from Kelowna, B.C., with full-time 9-to-5 jobs and a long list of places we want to see together. HoloHoloDuo is where we share what we learn along the way: honest itineraries, real budgets and the small details that make a trip feel easy.
how it started
A New Year’s resolution that stuck
In 2024, we made a resolution to finally see Europe. We didn’t set out to become content creators. The goal was simple: travel together as much as we could, around the vacation days we actually have.
Paris and Italy were our first stops, two places that had been on our bucket lists forever. For Nivina, it was the delicious (and very Instagrammable) Parisian pastries. For Jithin, it was the chance to explore Paris and world history through its incredible museums & historical attractions. And for both of us, the Eiffel Tower was a definite weakness.
We plan every trip ourselves, spending a lot of evenings reading about a place before we go. HoloHoloDuo is where all that planning ends up, so you can skip straight to the good part.

where we’ve wandered
From our Okanagan front porch to the other side of the world
Home base is the Okanagan Valley, where we love sharing wineries, weekend escapes and local finds. Beyond B.C., we’ve explored France, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Andorra in Europe, Japan and Thailand in Asia, the UAE, and the United States. Next up: the Christmas markets of Prague and Budapest this December.
